A Warm Invitation to Church

My wife Jay did not like the tone of that statement and asked me to stop saying it. Tone aside, however, I mean it. I first said it to a person who accused me of evangelizing because I want more people to come to my church so offerings can increase. Our youth pastor lamented in a recent sermon, “We invite folks to a location rather than to the Person of Jesus Christ. That captures perfectly what I have felt all along. Too often, Bible believing Christians make it a habit to invite folks to a location. I decided years ago that I will never invite anyone to church without first tryin

In this episode, Pastor Kyle joined us to discuss Reaching Youths in a Changing Culture. In 1 Chronicles 12:32 “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times”… Oh how desperately we need parents and Christians who have understanding of the times.
 
In our current culture, our kids and youths are most affected. So how do we raise them? How do we point our teenagers back to God? Pastor Kyle gave solid advice and ended the show with a presentation of gospel as the greatest need for youths today.

The apostle Peter, however, exhorted his readers that though his firsthand experience was a reliable eyewitness account, God's Word was "more sure." The Bible is completely reliable and trustworthy.
