Too often, Bible believing Christians make it a habit to invite folks to a location. I decided years ago that I will never invite anyone to church without first tryin...

Salvation: By Works?

This blog has been permanently relocated to https://www.removingbarriers.net Redirecting in seconds... Episode 32 DW joined us in this episode of the Removing Barriers Podcast where we discussed whether salvation is by works or by grace alone through faith alone.   We looked at a number of good works and searched the scriptures as to whether they are capable of saving us from eternal separation from a holy God. Some of the good works we looked at are: Keeping the Golden rule or the 10 Commandments Giving Money and/or Time Making Religious Pilgrimages Proselytizing Religious ceremonies Baptism and why was Jesus baptized We then explored the scriptures to determine if salvation is by grace or by faith. Are the books of James and Romans contradictory? Was Jesus proclaiming salvation by works when he declared, “I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat?”   What about the Old Testament? W...
