A Warm Invitation to Church

My wife Jay did not like the tone of that statement and asked me to stop saying it. Tone aside, however, I mean it. I first said it to a person who accused me of evangelizing because I want more people to come to my church so offerings can increase. Black Culture: a Monolith?

 Episode 5 

Recently Joe Biden caused a stir in the African American community by implying that the community was a monolith. We took that statement and dived into whether he was correct in his analysis.

 Furthermore, we used Coleman Hughes’ messy experiment by comparing 2nd generation Caribbean American culture to that of the African American culture.

We ended the episode with sharing how all cultures are monoliths in that we are all born in sin and that we can break free from our bondage though repentant faith in Jesus Christ.
